Hey did you know WordPress.com has a “reblog” function? Hell yeah let’s give it a try.
I’m continuously impressed with VIII, even though I rank it amongst the bottom of my favorites for a variety of reasons. What I won’t give it flak for is feeling uninspired, sipid, or as some kind of outlier where it’s not in dialogue with the games that came before it. It absolutely is, and I can’t decide which of the three interpretations Bloomed Wings provides jives with me the most.
Fuck it, why not all of them? After all if Ultimecia can compress time to a single point, why can’t the same hold true for theories?
